Full Job Description
This is a remote position and is open to candidates in any US state. Boston-area staff have the option to work fully remote or a hybrid using our downtown office space.
Brafton is looking for a Human Resources Assistant who will provide support for HR operations as well as administrative support across the business. The ideal candidate is someone who is motivated to start an entry-level career in Human Resources, personable, yet professional, highly organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
HR COORDINATION
Provide administrative support to Director of People Operations and CEO, as well as other senior management as delegated by the Director of People Operations
Successfully support and maintain a fluid recruitment life-cycle for open positions, including:
Assist in posting & maintaining job requisitions and external job advertisements
Vetting resumes and scheduling interviews
Conduct first-round phone interviews for candidates in the US, UK, Australia, and other locations of operations
Apply applicable state and federal laws in regard to recruitment activities
Administer and manage recruitment tests.
Assist with new hire onboarding process, ensuring clear follow up and coordination
Assist Director of People Operations and the Brafton Financial Controller with payroll-related data and entry
Digital file maintenance & compliance
Assist in facilitating departmental communications, particularly on Corporate Intranet
Participate in special projects as assigned such as data gathering, HR metrics reporting, benefits administration and other HR generalist related initiatives
Collaborate with Director of People Operations and various team managers on workplace initiatives, with the goal of furthering the company's remote culture and employee engagement & job satisfaction.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
Support hardware & office supply procurement & shipping for remote staff needs
Assist HR, Finance, and team managers with travel arrangements
Troubleshoot employee account and hardware issues
Set up new email accounts and system access profiles
Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a corporate setting, preferably in an administrative or HR role.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience with either Excel or Google Sheets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Sense of urgency in completing assigned tasks.
Professional, friendly disposition.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
