Ex: shift bidding is 30 min slot bidding
Ex: hours they indicate you work are less than the offer
Ex: training
very physically moving all the time would not recommend to anyone who is not in good shape and not able to deliver over hundred packages unless you are in good shape
Great job but amazon flex don't care about its subcontractors
Working for Amazon Flex was great but its not easy picking up job offers... There is a lot of talk at the warehouses about people cheating their way to get job offers and its unfair, I take hours a day refreshing my screen to pick up job offers, then I get harassed by amazon support agents saying that I have been using a third party app to get job offers... The company doesn't care about its subcontractors because they have replacements. So who cares? just replace them with someone new. Not fair at all. I don't recommend this job, they don't like honesty in this company.

unstable work
good paid. flex work. no benefic. i work with my vehicle. respecting all safety regulations. i work by blocks of work that you capture in the amazon flex app
Typical work day in pickup and delivery. Amazon- flex makes it easy to manage your life. Because I was contractor the company did not provide my particular job code insurance. Although, there is opportunity to become corporate employee. Amazon gives opportunity to manage ones time if you hustle and remain safe it is a great gig to make ends meet. Unfortunately I have to drive to Ma. because the gig doesn't exist the same in Connecticut. This in my professional opinion was the only drawback (political effect state to state). Very fun productive employment.
Time management is up to employee.

Horrible place
Amazon Flex is a joke the gps to the app takes you to walls and in middle of streets and takes you back at the end to a house a cross the street of a house you were previously at which is a total waste of gas and mileage. sometimes when i get packages they are opened torn damaged boxes and when you deliver the customer thinks you did it. Very unorganized. I bought my car with 18,000 miles within one month of working for amazon flex i had 26,000 miles not worth the money after oil changes and new tires and gas and break downs you really dont make money. they make routes impossible to deliver in the amount of time your paid and if you dont finish in time they expect you to finish and work for free. i brought my left over packages back to warehouse after my shift ended that i could not complete because my shift was over. i got nasty emails from cutomer support that i did not attempt to deliver my packages when i replied back to the email saying my shift was over they replied with our decision stays the same. then you hide customers packages at their house so no one steal them customers dont find their packages sometimes then you get the nasty emails again that a customer didnt receive a package you marked as delivered. and when you get enough of those they will deactivate your account and you will no longer be able to sign in. my sister still works in vegas and hates it with a passion my husband and i worked there my husband for a few months they deactivated his account i worked

Schedule
The one thing I hate is what time or day do they put up the schedule you never know when and I wish it was consistent. I remember pulling up and was the first person in line and they gave the second person (three) 3 boxes to deliver and gave me 40 boxes. WHY!!!! I should have received the 3 boxes I was first.

Flex Position
Flex position is considered a seasonal position. Even though your pay begins with $15, you are limited with personal medical insurance, no dental, or vision. Flexible because you create your own schedule by a set number of hours needed for that week. Hours could range from 15-30 and during busy seasons 40.

Great Job
Love working for amazon flex. Everyone is so nice and the supervisors are so kind and helpful. It’s honestly one of the best jobs I’ve had. I think this job is easy if you handle stress here and there well and know how to adjust to different issues and people.
Decent little job with no one on your back as such. Just pick up and deliver. It is was it is. I do part time delivery work and it is relatively stress free usually. Thanks

I applied for flex October 9 and started the October 31, so to be straight It’s seems to me that everyone is different and it all depends on you making sure your license and your background is straight. Keep in mind that if you have anything on your background from you past that will slow up your starting process because it will require further investigation. So just be patient and email flex support they will get back to you with instructions and information.

I took me 3 months. I applied in Nov 2019 got approved in February 2020. I believe the Holidays had something to with such a lengthy process. Background check took about 3 weeks. Pros.. it was worth it being that you make your own schedule in all.

I picked up a shift in Bellmawr, NJ and they wanted me to go all the way out to Atlantic City. It’s an hour and a half away.
If your car is good on gas and reliable then it’s not HORRIBLE, however, way too far for most people.
