Poor management. Mafia style business. Will lie, cheat, and toss you to the wolves to save themselves.
I would NEVER work in the uniform industry. Most crooked business I have ever experienced. Poor wages, unethical business practices. Unsafe environments, crooked, lying, scheming, horrible vehicles, etc. etc .

Great and Horrible at the same time
This was the only job ive ever had that was almost completely Black and White (not in race or color, obviously). It was either amazing and vibrant, or it was painful and degrading. Management doesnt care, so long as the job is done, correctly, by the book. Customers will sometimes feed you and since youre delivering napkins and table mats and table cloths and everything they need to wrap their fancy silverware, the customer respects you. so sometimes they will give you some fancy meal they just created, or have you try this new dish before they make it widely available. great job for the city, or the suburbs. Supporting staff, again, isnt that supporting, and they cant really help but be horrible...its all middle management. so they cant give you a straight answer, or they get yelled at. But in the meantime, they are getting yelled at by the other drivers for not helping. So you'll never get any real help, but you'll see the world and the backs of some restaurants, so you can know whether you should take the family you never get to see there.

Questions And Answers about Alsco

What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Alsco?
Asked Sep 19, 2016
My experience with ALSCO on a rating of 1 to 10. It would be a 2. Production workers are lowest paid in plant. Managers are paid decent but they are required to work 10 to 12 hours a day 6 days a week. If you are looking for a career this isnt the place.
Answered Jun 24, 2021
Don't waste your time at alsco. If you have another option, take it. Terrible management, poor pay and unless you kiss major butt to corporate management there isn't much chance of advancement.
Answered Aug 2, 2019
What is the most stressful part about working at Alsco?
Asked Oct 14, 2016
I did work over there the manager ,supervisor and all staffs are good and take care for you the bad things is employers who have racist special if you are black cause we work hard and faster they don't want to see you have points than them they will start lies in your name accuse you to Supervisor that can fire you when you see that I quit before I get fired for accusation I wish this problems will get fix it
Answered May 12, 2020
If you're not a unionized worker, you're under the constant threat of being fired. Your tenure means nothing to alsco. Give years of loyal service and the ex convict they just hired is treated with more kind regard than you. Make alsco your last resort.
Answered Aug 4, 2019
Does alsco hire excons?
Asked May 29, 2017
Yes. They hire a lot of people from the halfway house here in Ogden Utah
Answered Aug 31, 2021
They do hire ex convicts and that's fine but they'll hire some that are violent offenders and cause added stress and trouble to an already stressful working environment. The company gets money for hiring them and alsco has NO regard for the safety or security of their current employees.

What is the interview process like at Alsco?
Asked Sep 1, 2016
Easy it's a revolving door
Answered Mar 29, 2020
They give you false dreams of advancement opportunities and better pay but those are only for those who are willing to be their "yes people". Management will throw you under the bus to save their own skin.
