Good company for the most part
Good company for the most part, but as with almost allthe aviation groups they are VERY POLITICALLY driven and have the good ol boy group from within.

Contracts Department was a productive workplace.
Typing and proofing documents, submitting expense reports and providing general administrative assistance. I learned how to prepare and execute Non-disclosure Agreements and Consulting Agreements.
The hardest part of my job was understanding the terminology of European contracts. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning and being able to be a part of team.

A typical day was busy. The hardest part of my job was traveling to and from the place of business. As an admin assistant, it was hard to grow. There was a ceiling in place for increases in salary.

Productive and nice work environment
The managers were fair and nice. Good work environment. And they give you freedom to learn new things and do good to local community in terms of serving the high school or showing them how to build a plane. The company is too conscious of their brand. One cons was to start too early to support European counterparts early in the morning including during time change (sometimes had to start early at 6:00 am and conduct meetings) and long hours of work because Friday was a half day. The company had more than 50 percent contractors and less direct employees. Also, the company had paid huge fines for misusing European sops, had lost battle at WTO and had corruption going on at top level where a top level marketing executive had used unscrupulous means to obtain contract.

Productive and fun work place
Airbus has a great professional and yet fun work environment. They frequently organize mini social events such as Halloween decor contests/free lunch events and are very serious about heir mission to not just be a leader within the industry but to put safety FIRST!

Undergoing ramp up phase to achieve a 5 day TAKT
Line balancing involves using a T-card system setup in house to provide a critical path in the work scope of each station and identify job flow blockers. Work culture is excellent as each worker demonstrates professionalism and the desire to excel.
