During the course of time participated in carrying out different maintenance checks, Transit, Extended Transit, Phase checks(500 Hrs. check) on B737-800NG fitted with CFM56-7B Engines, and assisted in component Overhaul Division (Wheel Section).

Go for meeting with the CEO's is in India long flight about 22 hours stay in hotel for I night and attend the meeting and back on the flight the next day.

Typical as far as the weather is concerned in winter its difficult due to fog and visibility to operate a flight. Passengers also get disturbed due to delays in departures and arrivals. Management takes full care of our valued clients at every steps,keep them inform at time to time
regarding their concerns.Culture at office is very social and healthy.
I Enjoys in all my postings at different places with meeting new peoples and know about their cultures. Overall i loved in all my tenure of 34 years. I Learned a lot from being polite which is also a part of our duties.Strong while i have to take decisions like cancellation of a
flight that too from a station likt KULU AIRPORT where no other alternates except to travel by road, to manage taxis at the last minutes and provide hotel accomodations to the passengers confirmed on our flight. Since its a tourist place we donot get good hotels at the last minutes..It was fun and tought time also to managewith little staff at such station like KULU...

Work over there was an experience, for I was a new face from college. Learned to manage things.
I would start my shift by helping the shift in charge to allocate employees and equipment for various flight schedules. Then I would oversee the work in the respective area allocated to me. This would include collecting data from customers (other airlines), controlling baggage and cargo unloading/loading from/into aircrafts, and arranging equipment at cargo loading stations.
Hardest part of the job was to coordinate the jobs given to me. Managing employees to get the job done is not easy. it requires good communication skill, and ability to cooperate. It was difficult in the beginning, but quickly I got accustomed with the conditions. After that the same part became the most enjoyable.

I was so much happy to work in Air India Air transport services limited. Good staff, environment good respect love and hard work.
I liked to work happily in Air India with good staff and learn new things daily from them ver cooperative and helpful. Meeting new staff daily taking immediate responsibility of work every time. Like Air India staff I have not got happiness from other companies where I worked. Air India staff never hurt me while working they used to help me on time. I loved spending time with doctors sister, pharmacist staff admin staff etc.

Working in Quality Control and Technical Services Engineering Department of Air India was a very good experience. Co-workers and senior staffs were very supportive. With the help of them, I've learned in detail about the procedures for all checks and maintenance works that is being carried out on different aircraft, documentation work for renewal of Certificate of Airworthiness and issue of ARC, and maintaining the records of all these works.
Also I've got lots of knowledge about the aircraft like Boeing 747, 777 and 787.
Sometimes during the major checks and Inspections we get a chance to assist the higher officials in the maintenance areas, apart from the daily office works those were some good opportunities to make a closer look to the maintenance works. Which has always been so exciting and makes the job enjoyable.
