This is a terrible company to work for. Good luck to you if you do. Chances are you will quit. They get find every day for not having enough boots on the ground. This should speak volumes!

Friendly people, decent work life balance
Nice people to work with. Good overtime opportunities. Regular eight hour shifts with overtime available. Most employees hired as temps and some made perm.

Fun place especially when we have singing & dancing. They love this activities.
We call ourselves Social Director so I was the Asst. Social Director. I am looking forward of working on Saturdays & Sundays & on some Fridays. Since I am really a lover of music so the residents and I compliment each other.

Worst place I have ever worked at.
I can't say anything good about this company. The work environment was bad because of favoritism. The management was very unprofessional and the job was stressful.

Manager/Regional Vice President
I started as loan originator and processor. Then I became Manager in Lake Charles and then was transferred back to Lafayette as Manager. My branch ended being the No. 2 company nationwide.
Also produced policy and procedures for company making my branch the guideline for all branches.
I left the company because company went Bankrupt and new owners
came in and reduced everyones pay. My branch still produced
and maintained No 2 in company. I was promoted to Regional and within the first 3 months I had to close down 4 branches in 1 day. The branches were in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Then I realized there was no stability anymore so I left the company.

not so perfessional workplace
not enough serious business going on alot of young people worked at place of business. typical day at work would be talking to different type of people throughout the day.answering customers questions good customer service.

fun 6 weeks of training
Aegis is no longer in business. 6 weeks of training and not the best because they leave out a lot of stuff when get on the floor. So your score show what you know and don't know.
Pros40 hours no matter what even over time.
Consyour only have 8 time you can be absent or leave before a write up accurs.

Stressful fast paced but productive
i have learned a lot from working at Aegis and grown in the business from being an agent to being promoted to a Team leader through hard work and support i got from my managers which has made me realize my potential and now i ma ready to find my next challenge

Work experience
Aegis was my first company. I worked there as French Language specialist. Use of language was very interesting as I was entitled to obtain Employment and Education verification of employee who applied for a job in Canada. I was communication with company recruiters mainly HR and Payroll.

A day in the office
A day in the office is made by the atmosphere of the people that works with and the one that is created by the company. We interact with our people, client and customers on a daily basis. i have learned unique combination of operational management, coach, trainer development, marketing, and consulting skills. We are in a position to be innovative in development of concepts and implementations of any requirement or ideas to better improve our servicing of our client, customer and people. My interpersonal, management skill and communications skill has put me in a position that have allowed me to communicate/ interact with my clients on different level.
The hardest part of the job is to implement and idea with minimal resources and the other stakeholder are not coming to the table. Thinking outside the box to achieve the key objective of the project is important. To look back and see the project that you implemented achieves its objective and it manages to maintain the intended market is the one of the most enjoyable things of the job.

Worst Work Experience of My Life
Management treat staff members as disposable assets, there are minimal benefits to staff for most campaigns that are run from the floor. Staff members are expected to perform at a certain level of professionalism that is not displayed by their team leaders or management. Management plays favouritism when providing annual leave so some staff members continuously have leave requests rejected and are forced to miss events and public holidays even though leave requests were placed months in advance. Overall a horrible place to work.
